To provide the best possible care for pets and their owners through the most current techniques and recommendations of industry specialists. In addition, we strive to educate owners so they can effectively care for their pets throughout their lives.

My Background

Immediately after graduation, I practiced at a private animal clinic in Yokohama for 3 years. An interest in surgery led me to pursue graduate studies at the University of Missouri-Columbia (MU) in the United States.

After completing my scholarship program at MU, I returned to Japan and worked at a small animal clinic in Tokyo. There I gained experience in vertebral disease, arthritis and oncology surgery.

Prior to opening the Root Veterinary Clinic, I spent a total of 10 years practicing veterinarian medicine. Through the experience and valuable skills I acquired, I am able to provide the best possible treatment, centered on the pet and pet owner to enhance health and well being.
